Carn Mor Dearg Arete
The arete offers an adventurous approach to Ben Nevis with the Munro Carn Mor Dearg on the way. The route is a bit more exposed and requires steady feet.
Going up passed the C.I.C hut this is a more direct route to the summit but is quite rough and steep in places.
Another way to get to the summit and much less used. The walk to the summit is a bit more relentless but rewards with great views.More Info
Summit Camp - Camp at the summit of Ben Nevis
The summit of the highest peak in Scotland is very flat. However, it is also very rocky. Therefore it is best to camp up there in winter when the snow covers all the rocks.
Lochan Meall an t-Suidhe - Half-way Lochain
This is an alternative camping spot if the weather doesn't allow for a camp high up.
The Real Deal - Challenge yourself
This is a real adventurous challenge. Camping on Ben Nevis is already quite hard as it is but doing it in winter with heavier packs might push the limits for some.
