BCU Sea Kayak Award Assessment (formerly known as 3 Star)

From: £70.00

This Sea Kayak Award assessment is based in the Inverness area and covers all aspects of the BCU syllabus. We always make sure to make it a relaxing and pleasant experience.

At Unexplored Scotland, we offer also BCU Sea Kayak Award (formerly known as 3 Star Sea Kayak) assessments. Please go to the Scottish Canoe Association website to find out more about the syllabus and requirements.

We recommend bringing your own kit for this assessment. However, if you would rather like to hire a kayak or any kit we can arrange this too.

This day will comprise a short trip. You should be able to demonstrate all aspects of the BCU Star Sea Kayak Award syllabus including deep water rescue, Eskimo rescue and a successful roll.

The price includes only the assessment. Please contact us if you require any equipment. We can offer sea kayaks including paddle, spray deck and buoyancy aid.

Can’t find the right date or trip? Simply contact us and we will try our best to organise a different date for you.
