This year winter has been a wee bit slow to arrive but with storm Ciara and the Dennis, it eventually has. The 2 storms were at 2 consecutive weekends in February, which also meant that running a course was rather challenging. On one day we only managed to walk 10 metres from the cars and had to turn around in the wind.

When it all settled down I managed to walk up Cairn Gorm with a small group. This was the only really nice day. However, the gusty wind made it still challenging walking up Fiacaill a’ Choire Chais. It was worth all the effort and we managed to be down before the next windy weather turned up again.
